Controller (Hybrid, North of Boca Raton, FL)
A highly successful RE Investment Firm, located North of Boca Raton, FL, is actively seeking an 8-10+ year accounting professional to join their team as a Controller. This is a hybrid role (4X onsite), that is offering a strong compensation package (base+ bonus). Commercial real estate experience is required!
Responsibilities and Qualifications:
Oversee and manage all accounting functions, including general ledger, property accounting, A/P, A/R, payroll, and financial reporting Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings in accordance with GAAP Prepare consolidated financial statements and investor reporting packages Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow analysis for the corporate entity and real estate portfolio Supervise the preparation of property-level operating statements, CAM reconciliations, and rent rolls Coordinate annual audits and tax filings with external auditors and tax advisors Implement and maintain internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures to ensure compliance and efficiency Oversee accounting software and systems, ensuring accurate data integration and reporting Support acquisition, disposition, and financing transactions, including due diligence, financial modeling, and closing activities 8-10+ years of accounting experience within the commercial real estate space required CPA strongly preferred Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting mandatory Must be willing to work on a hybrid model (4X onsite)
