Your impact Our North Texas Transportation Group is seeking a mid-level
Transportation Drainage Engineer
with +4 years of experience to join our global headquarters in Dallas, TX or Fort Worth, TX. You will support highway, bridge, and rail projects throughout Texas, working collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Your responsibilities may include storm drainage analysis and design, hydraulic analysis, erosion control, cost estimates, technical reports, and construction plans.
Key responsibilities
Work with project engineers on storm drainage analysis and design for urban and rural transportation projects.
Conduct drainage analysis per project and agency requirements (e.g., TxDOT, DART).
Assist in preparing contract drawings, specifications, and estimates.
Develop drainage/hydraulic reports and technical memoranda.
Provide hydraulic analysis for cross drainage structures and coordinate with other disciplines.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited U.S. school.
PE license in Texas or ability to obtain within 6 months.
At least 4 years of experience in transportation drainage design, hydrologic and hydraulic analyses.
Effective communication and coordination skills across disciplines.
Experience with Microstation, Geopak Drainage, OpenRoads, SUDA.
Experience in designing roadway storm sewer systems.
Preferred additional skills
Experience with HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, HY-8.
Hydrologic and hydraulic modeling for cross drainage structures.
Experience with large-scale design-build projects.
Compensation and benefits The salary range is $103,600 to $181,300, influenced by location, skills, and experience. Benefits include health insurance, 401(k), stock options, paid time off, holidays, and potential bonuses.
