2 days ago Be among the first 25 applicants Electrical Project Manager – Power Generation A major infrastructure project in Texas is moving into execution phase, and we are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager with a background in utility-scale power generation to join the delivery team. This is a ground-up build of a 6GW combined-cycle facility—one of the largest of its kind in North America. The permits are secured, equipment is on order, and the project team is preparing to break ground. The opportunity offers long-term scope and the chance to lead in a technically complex, high-profile environment. Key Responsibilities: Oversee all electrical aspects of large-scale power generation construction Lead site planning, contractor coordination, schedule tracking, and risk management Interface with civil, mechanical, and commissioning teams through to project delivery Manage budget adherence, procurement timelines, and installation milestones Transition from early-stage planning to on-site execution as equipment arrives Candidate Requirements: 5+ years of electrical project management experience within power generation Direct experience with combined-cycle, thermal, or similar large-scale facilities Strong technical knowledge in MV/HV systems, substations, protection, and switchgear Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams in construction and commissioning phases Based in or willing to relocate to Dallas, with future flexibility toward Austin This is a significant build, requiring a candidate who is hands-on, delivery-focused, and capable of managing scale, complexity, and pace.
