Supervisory Responsibilities

Duties/Responsibilities
You will be responsible for the safety and management of crew members You will be responsible for ensuring that all crew members are in company uniform and wearing appropriate safety equipment as needed (safety goggles, earplugs, steel-toed boots, etc.) Responsible for loading materials and equipment and leaving the store by target hour each morning Responsible for ensuring that properties are maintained to a high standard of quality Responsible for identifying issues within the landscape in the accounts you serve, recording those issues, and reporting them to the maintenance team supervisor or account manager Responsible for keeping trucks and equipment clean and presentable Responsible for maintaining tools and equipment and reporting issues to your maintenance team supervisor or account manager Performs other duties as assigned
Required Skills/Abilities
Must be able to perform job responsibilities that require physical stamina and the ability to work outdoors in variable weather conditions Ability to work in a team and independently on assigned work tasks Basic knowledge in landscaping Horticulture and turf maintenance and management, snow management Time Management & Organizational Skills Ability to inspire top-notch performance Delegation and follow-up capability Ability to build effective work teams Enterprising and shows initiative Operate and maintain basic lawn maintenance equipment, including mowers, edgers, rope clippers, hedge trimmers, electric blowers, rakes, shovels, wheelbarrows, and backpack sprayers Great attitude from team members Wear approved PPE, as well as employer- or employee-provided uniform as directed by management Ensure that work is performed safely and in accordance with company policies Must have reliable transportation to and from the store location Excellent written and verbal communication skills Microsoft, Excel and software programs, ability to learn industry-related software, Aspire, Google Earth and Outlook Ability to interact professionally with all clients, employees, and any external organization Must possess a current Class C driver's license with clean MVR records Must possess a valid DOT medical card Must pass drug screening
Education & Experience
High School Graduate or Desired Equivalent Previous experience in exterior construction, landscape, or similar field Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required 1 year of supervision/management experience 1 year of experience in construction and/or landscaping
Physical Requirements
You must maintain regular and reliable attendance at a level acceptable to the company, including the ability to work overtime, holidays, nights, or weekends, as needed. The position requires extended working hours and flexibility in scheduling This work is mostly done outdoors in all kinds of weather conditions (i.e. heat, humidity, cold, wet, wind, rain, snow), which means that the person will need to prepare properly. Must be able to lift 50 pounds
