A global leader in technical engineering solutions for Oil & Gas, LNG, and renewable energy projects is seeking a Senior Instrument Engineer in Houston. This is a hybrid role supporting high-value, complex engineering work across multiple projects. You will serve as a senior technical leader and internal consultant, guiding instrumentation and analyzer systems across design, procurement, testing, and execution. Your work will directly support EPC contractors, owners’ engineers, and major stakeholders through all project phases. Key Responsibilities:
Lead instrumentation design and provide expert recommendations on engineering strategies Support internal teams, owners’ engineers, and EPC contractors with technical leadership Oversee instrumentation work on complex LNG, O&G, and energy transition projects Lead or contribute to equipment requisitions, vendor management, and change orders Ensure compliance with ISA, API, IEC, and project-specific standards Mentor junior engineers and continuously stay ahead of instrumentation trends Partner with business development to support technical proposals Required Qualifications:
15 or more years of instrumentation and control systems experience Minimum 5 years in a lead role on major projects in Oil & Gas, LNG, or petrochemicals Expertise in analyzers, DCS, SIS, and fire and gas systems Strong command of ISA, API, IEC standards Experience leading multidisciplinary teams through full engineering cycles Why Join:
