Lead Project Engineer , you will lead project engineering plans, processes, support programmatic MOS, and capacity analysis related to delivery requirements. You will support business leaders by presenting detailed requirements, actions, and status reports. You will work under the moderate supervision of a Sr. Program Manager to ensure projects are within scope, on schedule, and meet cost targets. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Understand customer specifications and integrate into Mechanical Flow Diagrams (MFD). Manage detailed design development for new and existing product lines. Hold weekly meetings with engineering teams to address project status and technical challenges. Coordinate procurement activities for equipment modules, vessels, exchanges, and instrumentation. Oversee fabrication processes and collaborate with fabricators to exceed customer expectations. Manage technical interfaces with customers, designers, fabricators, and internal teams. Obtain necessary documentation for equipment purchase requisitions. Review vendor drawings and specifications for conformance. Manage project quality plans and checklists. Coordinate customer factory acceptance testing. Support procurement, logistics, quality, and other departments. Participate in updating departmental standards, specifications, and procedures. Identify opportunities for process and productivity improvements. Coach and mentor less experienced team members. Support sales efforts and travel domestically and internationally (30-40%). Collaborate with the sales team to market UOP equipment for aftermarket sales. Engage with customers to identify equipment needs and facilitate replacements or new purchases. Enhance customer retention through excellent service and trust-building. Conduct regular client calls and visits to plan and execute projects effectively. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field. 10-15 years of project engineering or management experience focusing on mechanical equipment in refining, petrochemical, or gas processing industries. Experience working with EPC contractors. Over 10 years of project engineering experience. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Self-motivated leadership skills and initiative. Strong communication skills. Sales experience in the Oil and Gas industry. Ability to work effectively in teams. Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills. Mentoring capabilities. International and multicultural experience. Professional Engineer (PE) or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. Experience with project controls (cost and schedule). Seniority level
