Sunshine Homecare Services We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented RECRUITER to join our growing homecare team. The Recruiter will be responsible for sourcing, screening and onboarding qualified caregivers including Home Health Aides (HHAs), Personal Care Aides (PCAs), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), and Registered Nurses (RNs). This role plays a key part in supporting our mission to deliver compassionate and quality care to clients in their homes. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top-tier caregivers and clinical professionals. Source candidates through job boards, social media, job fairs, partnerships with schools, and referrals. Conduct phone screenings and in-person interviews to asses candidate qualifications and fit. Coordinate and schedule applicant interviews with clinical supervisors or department leads. Assist with background checks, credential verifications and compliance documentation. Maintain accurate records of all candidate activity within the applicant tracking system (ATS). Build and maintain relationships with training programs, vocational schools and community partners. Collaborate with the onboarding team to ensure a smooth transition from hire to start date. Meet weekly and monthly recruitment goals and staffing needs in various service areas.
Qualifications: High School Diploma/GED. 3 years of experience in recruiting, preferably in homecare and healthcare. Knowledge of HHA/PCA/LPN/RN credentialing requirements and Department of Health regulations a plus. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational and time management abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and applicant tracking systems (ATS). Bilingual (Spanish, Haitian, Creole, Russian, etc.) is a plus. Work Environment: Office-based with occasional travel to community events, job fairs and training institutions. Fast-paced, team-oriented environment requiring adaptability and initiative.
