Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Construction Project Manager to oversee projects involving the replacement and repair of mechanical equipment, energy optimization, and equipment upgrades. The role includes managing lighting replacements on K-12 and higher education campuses, as well as general construction tasks on building seams, windows, and seals.
Responsibilities
Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation. Monitor and track project progress, making adjustments as necessary to ensure successful completion. Lead and manage a team of construction professionals, including subcontractors, engineers, and laborers. Provide guidance, support, and motivation to ensure high performance and adherence to project goals. Ensure all construction activities comply with industry standards, regulations, and company policies. Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to maintain high standards of workmanship. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on project status and addressing concerns. Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project timelines and budgets. Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost-effective use of resources. Prepare and present financial reports to upper management. Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.
Essential Skills
5+ years experience as a construction Project Manager with General Contractor (GC) or Construction Manager (CM). Mechanical controls experience is highly preferred. CM or engineering degree is highly preferred. Working knowledge of OSHA safety requirements on active job sites for 5 years.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience and understanding of mechanical systems, both underground and above ground with a focus on boilers and chillers.
Work Environment
Most work will be conducted in an office setting, with occasional travel required.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $135000.00/yr.
