Sr Engineer, Embedded GUI Software

Job Summary As a Sr Engineer, Instrument Software you will design, develop, and implement applications for our next generation handheld patient monitoring devices. The selected candidate will develop the user interface working closely with our UX designers to develop the backend framework for our devices. Develop UI frameworks for the interface of our medical devices. Work closely with our UX designers to develop the backend framework Design, Implementation and Maintenance of Software Software Documentation Software Specification and Testing Requirements 5+ years of experience C++ software development experience Experience with graphical user interface (GUI) design & development Excellent conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving abilities Experience with software configuration management Strong knowledge of operating system concepts (scheduling, memory management, multi-threading) Ability to excel in a fast paced and dynamic work environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills Preferred Qualifications Qt Graphic Framework Computer Graphics library (OpenGL, DirectX, etc.) Mobile application development Scripting languages (JavaScript, etc.) Education BS or MS degree in Computer Science or Engineering Compensation The anticipated salary range for this position is $120,000 - $155,000 plus benefits.Actual placement within the range is dependent on multiple factors, including but not limited to skills, education, and experience. This position also qualifies for up to 10% annual bonus based on Company, department, and individual performance.
