Fund Controller
to oversee the accounting and financial operations of a multi-entity funding structure. This is a unique opportunity to help transform and scale a key business segment by leading all accounting, reporting, and control functions—while working directly with the CFO, auditors, and external service providers. You’ll also play a critical leadership role in executing a long-term finance transformation project, transitioning from a third-party accounting platform to an in-house ERP system. Key Responsibilities: Lead all accounting and reporting for a global funding platform spanning SPVs and international branches Manage month-end close, NAV calculations, investor allocations, and cash flow reporting Coordinate financial statement audits and work directly with Big 4 auditors and service providers Review and strengthen internal controls, policies, and documentation to ensure audit readiness Oversee the strategic transition of accounting workflows from one ERP system to another Monitor fund performance and provide detailed financial analysis to senior leadership Manage and mentor junior finance staff and back-office support Oversee investor reporting, including capital statements and IRR calculations Partner with tax, legal, operations, and investment teams on regulatory and compliance matters Reports to the CFO In Office: 2x a Week in NYC Requirements: 7-10 Years of Experience in Public Accounting AND Fund Accounting (Any Fund Type) CPA is Required Experience with Investor Reporting and/or Factoring is a Plus Seniority level
