DPR is seeking an experienced Snowflake Data Engineer to join our Data and AI team. The role involves working closely with the Data Platform, BI, and Enterprise architecture teams to shape the technical direction of DPR’s data initiatives. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, data engineers, and technical leads, to align business needs with data architecture and develop data models for specific areas. Responsibilities

Design, build, and own the data architecture across the platform, including data lake, data warehouse, and data consumption layers. Develop and optimize data architectures and integrations across internal and external systems. Work with engineering, data, and analytics teams to deliver critical data solutions. Lead high-priority data initiatives using Azure/AWS, Snowflake, and DBT, with potential involvement in advanced analytics and AI. Architect scalable, secure, and high-performance data platforms to meet business needs. Partner with customers to incorporate future requirements into the platform roadmap. Design and manage data models, flows, and integration patterns for all data layers. Support data engineers in developing data models. Prototype solutions in cloud platforms to demonstrate feasibility and value. Participate in all project phases and lead data architecture initiatives. Qualifications

Expertise in data analysis, modeling, and engineering, especially on cloud-native platforms. 5+ years in a data architecture leadership role, delivering scalable cloud solutions. Hands-on experience with secure enterprise data architectures on Azure or AWS. Deep knowledge of Snowflake and DBT, with experience in ETL/ELT pipelines. Experience designing data structures for data lakes and warehouses. Proficiency in SQL, Python, and PySpark. Experience with agile methodologies and cross-team collaboration. Skilled in automating data pipelines within a DevOps framework. Strong communication skills with a passion for data-driven transformation. Work Conditions

Prolonged sitting or standing at a computer. Ability to lift 15 pounds occasionally. Occasional domestic travel may be required. This is a hybrid role with most work from home, requiring attendance at key meetings at the DPR office.
