Major focus areas of software maintained by the team include: Developing and maintaining tooling used to deploy Compute Applications and Infrastructure Creating and maintaining highly available APIs for launching and managing Compute resources Designing and implementing highly scalable systems capable of functioning across numerous regions in a worldwide cloud footprint Security-first design and deep integration with the OCI Identity and Access Management (IAM) framework You and members of the team will be called upon to solve diverse scaling, security, efficiency, and automation problems through robust architectural decisions and customer-first design. The ideal candidate will be DevOps-minded and passionate about creating software and automation to improve deployment experiences. Note:

This position is located in Nashville, TN. It is not a remote role. Responsibilities

As a Principal Member of Technical Staff, you will lead major projects and participate significantly in design and architecture. You will act as a technical leader and exemplify core values for junior engineers. Your tasks will span from architectural discussions to feature implementation and DevOps automation. Qualifications

Solid knowledge of at least one major programming language (preferably Java or Golang) Knowledge of a scripting language (preferably Python) Exceptional experience with Terraform Proficiency in Linux shell scripting (bash) Strong understanding of Linux fundamentals Knowledge of database fundamentals Familiarity with architectural patterns and principles Skills in debugging and testing complex systems Excellent verbal and written communication skills, especially in collaborative design Preferred Skills

Range and benefits vary by location. US: $96,800 - $223,400 annually, with potential bonuses and equity.
