Your responsibilities will include conducting routine physical and mental health nursing assessments to ensure that each individual receives the appropriate treatment and medication support.You'll provide supportive counseling, monitor medical needs, and, when necessary, administer methadone. You'll also conduct intake and follow-up interviews, complete physical assessments, perform drug and TB testing, and maintain detailed and accurate documentation. Candidates must have at least one year of experience in medication administration. Experience in substance abuse treatment, psychiatric care, or long-term care settings, particularly involving the dispensing of narcotic medications, is essential for success in this role. A valid Virginia Driver's License is also required, enabling you to fulfill various job responsibilities effectively.Strong communication and interpersonal skills will be key, as you will provide supportive counseling to clients while conducting thorough assessments.
