If you have an active lifestyle, love the outdoors and like to work with people, this job is for you! The Retail Sales Associate will maximize selling opportunities by having friendly interactions with customers, providing product information and purchase recommendations, and ultimately closing sales.Salary: $18-$25/hourSchedule: 20-30 hours per week. Must be flexible*Job Duties:Generate sales that meet or exceed monthly targetsAnticipate customer needs and suggestively sell products and services to enhance the customer's outdoor experienceArrange merchandise within the store and window displays in an appealing and creative way to encourage increased sales Provide buyer/customer assistance in all areas of the retail store as needed, to ensure a friendly, positive, and professional shopping experienceAssist in the unloading of trucks and stocking of merchandiseMaintain showroom and stock areas by organizing shelves, folding and hanging merchandise according to size and style, and performing light housekeeping duties throughout the workdayIdentify merchandise trends and make recommendations to management for new product offeringQualificationsPrevious retail and/or customer service work experience preferredEnthusiasm for skiing and/or snowboarding desirableWeekend and evening work requiredSkillsCustomer friendly, an outgoing personality, and a positive attitudeObservant and well organizedAbility to work in a collaborative team, in a fast-paced environment
