Primary Duties and Responsibilities

In this role, you will provide a range of services to multidisciplinary teams with emphasis on outpatient practices of the UCLA Health-Behavioral Health Associates serving adult, geriatric populations, children, and adolescents. Duties may include psychosocial assessment; care coordination; consultation to the team; individual, family, or group psychotherapeutic treatment; liaison with community agencies; treatment plan documentation; and disposition planning and advocacy. Requires excellent skills in interpersonal communication and documentation, as well as clinical knowledge of individual, family, social, and cultural issues in mental illness. *Position is flexible hybrid with up to 40% remote* LCSW Salary Range: $108,451 - $129,623 Annual LMFT Salary Range: $64,800 - $137,600 Annual Job Qualifications
We’re seeking an experienced CA Licensed Clinical Social Worker with: CA Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Masters in Social Work or Psychology OR California Marriage and Family Therapist license (LMFT) and Master in Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT) or Master in Psychology or Master in Counseling Psychology or Masters of Art in Counseling Experience and skill interacting with healthcare providers in a multidisciplinary setting Working knowledge of general theoretical and clinical models Ability to develop effective rapport and therapeutic alliances with patients Skill in writing clear and complete clinical notes and summaries of evaluations Experience in documenting and charting to ensure accurate medical records in accordance with policies Knowledge of clinical social worker ethics and scope of practice Ability to perform comprehensive mental status exams and recognize changes Ability to establish and maintain respectful relationships with professionals and support staff Knowledge of community resources including mental health, income maintenance, education, residential, and vocational supports Ability to coordinate care with providers and community agencies, demonstrating assertiveness, persistence, and diplomacy Maintain the expected caseload of patients
