is seeking a
Water/Wastewater Utility Director
for our Water Practice Group. You’ll contribute immediately to Water and Wastewater (W/WW) project development and execution of various sizes as part of a growing office. As a Senior Engineer, you’ll participate in the full project cycle, from design through construction close-out. You will perform design engineering tasks to
lead
the Project Team in executing and delivering water and wastewater linear projects. Principal Duties and Responsibilities: Produce contract documents including plans, specifications, and opinions of probable construction costs (OPCCs). Perform pipeline hydraulic flow and pressure calculations. Prepare construction and design cost estimates. Design large and small diameter water and wastewater pipelines. Manage projects, interface with clients, and develop future business opportunities. Conduct site visits during design and construction phases. Review shop drawings and submittals for compliance. Build and oversee staff. Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited university or NCEES equivalent. Minimum of 15 years in water/wastewater projects. Experience with JEA projects is essential. Horizontal Directional Drilling experience is advantageous. Experience with local municipalities and utility companies. Florida PE License required. Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Familiarity with design software and modeling tools is a plus.
