Our thrift stores play a vital role in funding our Adult Rehabilitation Centers and providing affordable shopping options to our neighbors.Pay Rate: $12.50/hr.Status: Full Time 40 hoursAbout the RoleJoin our team as a Processor where you'll play a crucial role in processing and preparing donated goods for sale in our thrift stores. This position combines warehouse operations, merchandising, and mission-driven work to support The Salvation Army's community programs.Key ResponsibilitiesSort, tag, and price merchandise according to established guidelinesTrack and report production numbers in assigned locationsMove processed merchandise to sales floor for display or to designated shipping locationsMaintain clean work and storage spacesMeet daily production goals for merchandise processing and store stockingWhat You'll Need to SucceedRequired QualificationsHigh School Diploma or currently pursuingStrong English communication skills for team interactionsBasic computer skills and ability to learn new systemsBasic math skillsAbility to work a flexible schedule including weekends and eveningsProfessional appearance and adherence to dress codeMust pass pre-employment background checkReliable and team-oriented mindsetPhysical RequirementsAbility to regularly lift and move up to 25 pounds - regularly or occasionallyCapability to stand for extended periodsAbility to walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, and crouch as neededSpecific vision abilities including close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focusTraining and DevelopmentComprehensive systems training providedExpected proficiency within 3 monthsOngoing professional development opportunitiesWhat Success Looks LikeMeeting daily production goalsAccurate processing and pricing of merchandiseClean and organized work environmentStrong team collaborationReliable attendance and punctualityThe Salvation Army is an equal opportunity employer.
