Company Overview: Industrial contractor specializing in delivering high-impact projects in manufacturing, processing, and heavy industrial environments. We’re seeking an experienced Industrial Project Manager to lead complex, large-scale projects from concept to completion. This role is ideal for a driven leader with a background in managing field operations, subcontractors, and client relationships within the industrial contracting space.

This is a full time, direct-hire opportunity, paying between $140,000 - $150,000 annually with full benefits. Position Summary: The Industrial Project Manager will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of industrial construction and installation projects. This includes coordinating multidisciplinary teams, managing budgets and schedules, ensuring safety compliance, and maintaining strong communication with clients and stakeholders. Your experience in working with or for industrial contractors will be key in driving successful outcomes. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage all phases of industrial construction projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, execution, and close-out. Coordinate field activities with subcontractors, suppliers, engineers, and internal teams to ensure timely, cost-effective project delivery. Serve as the main point of contact for clients, providing clear communication, status updates, and issue resolution. Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions as needed to maintain schedule and quality targets. Oversee job site safety practices and ensure full compliance with OSHA and company policies. Prepare and manage documentation including project schedules, cost reports, RFIs, change orders, and submittals. Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality, and team performance. Track project KPIs and contribute to continuous improvement efforts. Qualifications: 5+ years of project management experience in an industrial or heavy construction environment. Prior experience working with an industrial contractor is required. Proven ability to manage complex projects involving mechanical, electrical, and civil disciplines. Strong understanding of construction methods, drawings, permits, safety regulations, and quality control procedures. Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Procore, Primavera) and Microsoft Office Suite. Exceptional communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred; equivalent work experience accepted. PMP certification is a plus, but not required.
