Prime Medicine seeks a strategic, hands-on Senior Manager, Digital Workplace & IT Operations to lead IT service delivery and digital workplace platform optimization. Responsibilities include managing helpdesk, support teams, endpoint and identity management, collaboration tools, and enterprise integrations. The role involves ensuring secure, scalable operations that enhance productivity and support company growth. Reporting to the Director of Infrastructure, Cloud, and Cybersecurity, the role requires cross-functional collaboration to ensure service excellence and operational maturity. This position is based on-site at Prime Medicine's headquarters in Cambridge and in Watertown. Platform & Program Ownership: Support business-critical platforms across HR, Finance, Legal, and Operations (e.g., ADP, NetSuite, Coupa, Concur, Conga), partnering with application owners and providing Tier 2/3 support. Lead middleware platform integrations (OKTA, MuleSoft), API workflows, and enterprise automation. Manage provisioning and access workflows via SCIM, SAML, SSO (e.g., OKTA, Azure AD). Oversee endpoint management, compliance, and deployment using Intune, Automox, ConnectWise, Kandji. Own collaboration tools (Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint, Mimecast, Zoom). Ensure data compliance, eDiscovery, and investigations via Microsoft Purview. Coordinate platform uptime, patching, and health with I&O teams. Lead IT disaster recovery and business continuity planning. Drive digital initiatives and manage MSP/vendor relationships. Align endpoint security measures with cybersecurity strategies. Contribute to IT budgeting and forecasting for end-user tech needs. IT Operations & End-User Support: Manage daily IT operations for onsite and remote staff, including VIP support. Oversee onboarding/offboarding, helpdesk workflows, and escalations using ITSM platforms. Manage end-user infrastructure, AV platforms, and device lifecycle. Monitor SLAs and support metrics for continuous improvement. Service Improvement & Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor support staff, fostering a customer-focused culture. Implement service improvements through automation and training. Lead IT change management and promote ITIL best practices. Stakeholder Engagement: Act as IT liaison to various business units, aligning digital solutions with operational needs. Support change management via communication, documentation, and training. Translate IT initiatives into business value for non-technical stakeholders. Qualifications: 5+ years of IT helpdesk and end-user support experience, preferably in pharma/biotech. Experience managing vendors, enforcing SLAs, and following ITSM/ITIL frameworks. Proven ability to deliver high-quality IT service and support automation. Experience managing IT projects across teams. Hands-on with tools such as Microsoft 365, Azure AD, Okta, Intune, Kandji, Zoom, Mimecast, Egnyte, Acronis, ServiceNow, Autotask, Automox, ConnectWise, MuleSoft, SentinelOne, Rapid 7, Microsoft Purview, macOS, and Windows. Knowledge of compliance standards like GxP, 21 CFR Part 11, NIST is a plus. Basic scripting skills (e.g., PowerShell). Flexible availability for support outside standard hours.
