Task planning, project management, and coordination skills will be important to work effectively with other data and project team members and leadership. The Data Warehousing Specialist will bring experience in a variety of data warehousing tools from both the traditional data warehouse and data lake perspective but also from the techniques used in the Modern Data Stack and/or other modern approaches to managing spatial data warehouses. Experience in data analysis, presentation, or self- service BI approaches will also be important to develop proof of concept and prototype reports and maps that can help end users visualize and interrogate data that is contained within the data warehouse, thus demonstrating the value of the environment. The Data Warehousing Specialist must have at least 5 years' experience with building data warehouses (including spatial data) and working with data dashboards, reports, maps, or other visualizations from aggregated data.
