Citi . Role Overview

This position is part of the Citi Treasury Investments (CTI) Governance and Business Initiatives team within the Finance Organization. The Senior Project Manager will oversee the execution of CTI’s initiatives focused on balance sheet management, FX and interest rate risk management, funding, and liquidity management. Business / Team Overview

The Citi Treasury Investments group manages over a $500 billion portfolio, including Issued Debt, Intercompany Borrowings & Placements, AFS/HTM Securities, and Derivatives. The team handles central liquidity, investment portfolios, foreign exchange hedging, USD financing, interest rate risk management, and issuance of debt and structured notes. The Business Initiatives team collaborates closely with stakeholders to design and implement processes across Treasury, Finance, and technology partners. Key Responsibilities

Develop and review Business and Functional Requirements, Technology design, project plans, and lead testing. Apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Make design and functional decisions to resolve business issues and production problems. Partner with CTI desk leads and senior stakeholders for requirements analysis, updates, and issue resolution. Lead steering group meetings and senior stakeholder discussions. Coordinate UAT, lead UAT calls, track implementation, and report post-implementation outcomes. Development Value

Gain exposure to investment management decision-making processes. Learn about bank interest rate management and hedging strategies (Interest Rate Swaps, FX options, Forwards). Work closely with the Capital Markets team managing Citigroup’s share issuance and repurchase programs. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

Bachelor’s degree required; graduate degree and PMP certification are a plus. 10+ years in financial services or consulting. 5+ years in project management and SDLC. Knowledge of Treasury products (Money Market, FX, Swaps, Bonds). Understanding of key Interest Rate Risk metrics. Technical skills: MS Visio, MS Project, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint. Strong curiosity, attention to detail, teamwork, and critical thinking skills. Additional Details
