Senior Manager of IT Operations

to lead our high-performing IT team and oversee the technology that powers our manufacturing operations. This is a high-growth role where you’ll not only manage IT operations but also have the opportunity to build and scale a team, influence business strategy, and be part of a forward-thinking technology transformation.

What You'll Do:

Lead & Inspire the IT Team:

Lead and mentor a diverse IT team, guiding them through challenges and fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. Build strong relationships across departments, working closely with senior IT leaders and key stakeholders to align operations with the company’s ambitious growth strategy. Drive team development through hands-on coaching, performance management, and fostering an environment where team members can thrive and grow in their careers.

Shape IT Operations for Growth:

Oversee the scalability and reliability of all IT infrastructure, ensuring that networks, servers, mobile devices, cloud services, and enterprise systems can keep pace with the company’s rapid growth. Optimize system performance and proactively troubleshoot to maintain a high level of service for internal users, ensuring seamless integration of Microsoft-based solutions (MS 365, Azure, SharePoint, etc.). Ensure the high availability and security of systems and data, driving improvements in uptime, response times, and security protocols across the organization.

Champion Continuous Improvement & Innovation:

Lead IT support teams in driving process improvements across technical support, system integrations, and troubleshooting, ensuring efficiency and best practices. Foster a culture of innovation, regularly assessing emerging technologies and solutions that can improve operational efficiency, security, and overall business performance. Utilize data-driven insights to identify bottlenecks and develop strategies to scale operations smoothly as the company expands.

Cybersecurity & Risk Management:

Take ownership of cybersecurity initiatives, ensuring that protocols are in place to protect the company’s data and IT infrastructure as it evolves. Lead the implementation of disaster recovery plans and ensure the team is prepared for business continuity in the event of a system failure or breach.

Strategic Leadership & Vision:

Partner with the executive team to align IT strategies with business objectives, ensuring technology supports our mission to grow, innovate, and improve operational efficiency. Manage the IT budget effectively, balancing the needs for immediate IT support with investments in infrastructure that will scale for the future. Lead vendor negotiations and procurement processes to ensure maximum value and alignment with business needs.

What You Bring:

Experience & Leadership:

8+ years in IT operations, with at least 3+ years in a leadership role, managing teams and driving complex technology initiatives. Proven ability to scale IT operations in a fast-growing environment, particularly in manufacturing or similarly dynamic industries. A track record of successfully leading and developing high-performing teams, focusing on leadership and fostering an environment that encourages growth, collaboration, and high accountability.

Technical Expertise:

Strong experience with Microsoft-based technologies, including Office 365, Azure, Active Directory, SharePoint, and Teams. Hands-on expertise in network administration, cloud computing, and cybersecurity best practices. Deep understanding of mobile device management and managing enterprise systems that support operational growth.

A natural leader who can align technology and business strategy—ensuring IT infrastructure and systems support company growth while managing risk and security. A passion for staying ahead of emerging technologies and their potential to drive efficiency, innovation, and scalability.
