As a
Transportation Engineering Lead
at TWM, you will play a crucial role in planning, designing, and implementing transportation projects. In collaboration with our clients and other team members, you will develop solutions that optimize transportation networks and enhance quality of life. Essential Job Functions: Project Leadership:
Lead federally funded transportation projects from conception to completion, including preparing detailed engineering plans, specifications, and cost estimates. External Relationships:
Collaborate effectively with MoDOT, municipalities, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders to develop comprehensive project solutions. Team Leadership:
Serve as the Discipline Lead for Missouri, cultivating a high-performing team of transportation engineers and technical staff. Collaboration Across Firm Locations:
Work closely with the established transportation groups at all TWM locations, fostering collaboration, allocating staff, sharing best practices, and contributing to the collective knowledge base of the firm. Strategic Direction:
Define and execute strategies for team growth and project excellence, aligning with company objectives and client needs. Establish and cultivate relationships to position TWM as a leader in the transportation sector. Innovation and Optimization:
Drive innovation in transportation engineering practices to optimize project outcomes and deliver sustainable solutions. Quality Assurance:
Oversee quality assurance processes to maintain high standards of project delivery and client satisfaction. Qualifications Desired: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. Registered Professional Engineer in the State of Missouri. A minimum of 10 years of experience in transportation engineering is preferred, with a proven track record in project management and team leadership. Experience working on MoDOT and Missouri LPA projects is strongly preferred. Candidates with less experience but exceptional skills and potential are encouraged to apply. Strong business development skills, including experience in client management, proposal writing, and securing new business opportunities. Technical proficiency in transportation engineering, design software, and regulatory requirements. Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively engage with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
