The Supply Chain organization is seeking an experienced Sr. Global Commodity Manager for Sensors and Lighting Solutions, including technologies like Induction, Capacitive and Image Sensors, Light Curtains, Bar Code Scanners, LiDARs, and Vision Lighting solutions. The role involves managing global suppliers, new supplier onboarding, supplier development, and executing sourcing strategies to support product launches and long-term planning. The ideal candidate will be a self-driven sourcing strategist with experience managing complex solutions, aligning design and technology roadmaps, and supporting engineering teams to develop advanced technologies while achieving cost goals. Key Responsibilities
Manage supplier relationships, including performance, capacity, contracts, and risk mitigation. Collaborate with technical and engineering teams on new product requirements and sourcing strategies. Develop mechanisms for forecasting and capacity planning. Monitor supplier performance and address supply or quality issues. Align supplier strategies with Robotics objectives. Create and maintain technology roadmaps and supplier scorecards. Travel periodically to supplier sites, approximately 25% of the time. A Day in the Life

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field. 5+ years in supply chain and supplier management in a global manufacturing environment. 3+ years working with sensor and imaging technology suppliers. Understanding of engineering requirements for sensing components. Experience in developing sourcing strategies, negotiating contracts, and leading RFQs. Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree in related fields. Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous environments and manage multiple stakeholders.
