Executive Director of Software Development Job Summary: We are looking for a seasoned
DevOps Manager
to lead and scale our cloud infrastructure and data operations. This role requires a strategic thinker with hands-on experience in
AWS and Azure , and a strong background in
CI/CD ,
infrastructure automation , and
team leadership . You will manage cross-functional teams of
data engineers ,
data scientists , and
cloud architects , driving operational excellence and innovation across our data and cloud platforms. Key Responsibilities: Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team of DevOps engineers, data engineers, data scientists, and cloud architects. Architect and implement scalable CI/CD pipelines for data and machine learning workflows. Oversee cloud infrastructure management across
AWS
and
Azure , ensuring high availability, security, and cost-efficiency. Collaborate with engineering and data teams to streamline deployment processes and automate infrastructure provisioning using tools like
Terraform ,
CloudFormation , and
ARM templates . Drive adoption of DevOps best practices including
monitoring ,
logging ,
incident response , and
performance optimization . Manage version control, release management, and environment consistency across development, staging, and production. Ensure compliance with data governance, security policies, and regulatory requirements. Evaluate and integrate new tools and technologies to improve operational workflows and team productivity. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 7+ years of experience in DevOps or cloud infrastructure roles, with 3+ years in a leadership or managerial capacity. Proven experience with
AWS
and
Azure
cloud platforms. Strong knowledge of
CI/CD tools
such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps. Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g.,
Python ,
Bash ,
PowerShell ) and infrastructure-as-code. Experience managing data-centric environments, including support for
data pipelines ,
ML models , and
analytics platforms . Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools like
Docker
and
Kubernetes . Preferred Qualifications: Certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, or similar. Experience with
ML Ops ,
data lake architectures , and
real-time data streaming . Knowledge of security frameworks and compliance standards (e.g., SOC 2, HIPAA, GDPR). Background in Agile/Scrum methodologies and project management tools like Jira or Asana. Soft Skills: Strong leadership and team-building capabilities.
