We are looking for a High Performance Computing (HPC)

Performance Engineer to join our team to provide technical expertise in HPC that can be applied to a diverse range of market verticals. Sample areas include computational fluid dynamics, computational structural mechanics, molecular dynamics, high-performance data analytics, etc.

Key Responsibilities

Implement and maintain HPC performance testing software and benchmarks Perform optimization and benchmarking of open source and ISV applications with current and future HPC hardware Collect and analyze performance data, identifying performance limitations, and determining the best approach and techniques to improve performance Collaboration with cross-functional teams to evangelize the capabilities and performance advantages of Cornelis products

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) in computer science, engineering, math, or related technical discipline Ability to run and analyze HPC applications across an HPC network and demonstrate a proficient understanding in message passing, scaling optimization, and identifying performance bottlenecks. Experience with Message Passing Interface (MPI) programming Experience with HPC network architectures such as Omni-Path, InfiniBand, or Ethernet Experience in compiling software with a variety of compilers (Intel, gcc, etc.) and libraries Experience operating in UNIX or Linux computing environment Python or shell script experience

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of HPC resource management and job scheduling systems (e.g., SGI, SLURM, PBS, Maui). Experience operating parallel software with file systems such as Lustre and BeeGFS Experience deploying Linux workstation or cluster environment

Location: This is a remote position for employees residing within the United States.

At Cornelis Networks your base salary is only one component of your comprehensive total rewards package. Your base pay will be determined by factors such as your skills, qualifications, experience, and location relative to the hiring range for the position. Depending on your role, you may also be eligible for performance-based incentives, including an annual bonus or sales incentives.
