Role And Experience
As Dr. Kathleen Marcus plans to reduce her hours, were searching for an experienced veterinarian to join our team as co-Medical Director. In this role, you will assist Dr. Marcus to ensure the long-term success of Purrfurably Cats. Along with influencing the future of our clinic, you will also build upon our hospitals current strengths, while elevating our services and encouraging new business ideas. Experienced Medical Directors are highly encouraged to apply, however, were also open to emerging leaders and experienced Associates (5+ years of clinical experience in a feline-only practice).
Were Searching For
EXCELLENT communication skills Enthusiastic about leading a practice! Strong leadership skills and positive outlook 5+ years of current, feline-exclusive clinical experience Well-versed in feline medicine (surgery, behavior, GI needs, etc.) Veterinarian who trusts their technician and support teams Love for teaching and a willingness to mentor others Eager to build relationships with our client base Commitment to lifelong learning and staying on top of the latest industry developments/tools Fear Free certification is a plus!
Scheduling Needs
This is a full-time, Monday-Friday role (4- or 5-day work week). There are no weekend, on-call, or emergency afterhours for this role. Additionally, we prioritize work/life balance by ensuring our team leaves on time and remaining flexible with our scheduling to accommodate vacations, important events, and life outside of work.

We exclusively work with catsbig cats, small cats, F1 Savannahs, you name it! Our hospital is equipped with digital radiology and in-house lab and with our unique perspective and expertise, we are able to fully recognizes the special needs of our community's cats. Our fun-loving and professional team maintains an enjoyable work environment where we really take the time to get to know our patients and provide them (and their owners) a low-stress veterinary experience.
