The Joint, Office of the Secretary of Defense, Interagency Division (JOID) provides expert support services to a range of customers spanning across the Department of Defense (DoD), Federal Civilian, and international markets. JOID provides a diverse portfolio of analytical and programmatic capabilities to help our customers make informed decisions on their most challenging issues.
The Acquisition and Technology Analysis Group (ATAG) within JOID specializes in the application of multi-disciplinary analytic skills to support multiple clients within the DoD. These clients include the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Research and Engineering (OUSD(R&E)), Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition and Sustainment (OUSD(A&S)), DARPA, Joint Staff, and USINDOPACOM. SPA provides critical decision support to enabling and executing a strategy of technological superiority and enabling the delivery and sustainment of secure, resilient, and preeminent capabilities to the warfighter quickly and cost effectively. Our team of experienced military, technical, and operations research analysts is skilled in evaluating military problems, identifying the driving factors, devising innovative approaches, collecting applicable data, developing necessary software tools, and performing thorough and timely assessments to inform technology and acquisition governance decisions to ensure U.S. military forces retain military superiority in the future.
We have a near-term need for a Program Manager to provide onsite support out of Alexandria, VA.
Responsibilities
SPA has an opportunity to provide administrative and specialized support to OUSD(R&E) front offices. We are seeking a dedicated Program Manager to lead strategic-level, executive administrative support in a fast-paced environment. The candidate will provide flexible, proactive, and uninterrupted service to senior executive leadership. Will be responsible for a large technical team that offers expertise in administrative support, travel support, strategic communications, and workflow management. Will develop new and innovative ways to support front offices, ensuring our team delivers the speed and quality required by OUSD(R&E). The candidate will integrate front office support across the organization to help drive mission success in advancing critical technologies for the DoD.
Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, communications, office management, or a related field. 8+ years of relevant DoD program management experience. Demonstrated leadership skills that optimize team production. Proven ability to build strong relationships with senior leaders and provide expert advice. Familiar with administrative support, travel support, strategic communications, and workflow management. Able to work full-time on client site at the Pentagon or Mark Center. Active DoD Secret clearance.
Desired
Advanced degree in business administration, communications, office management, or a related field. Experience working in OUSD(R&E) front offices or similar organizations in the DoD. Experience as an executive assistant, military assistant, or chief of staff. Active DoD Top Secret clearance.
