Base pay range $101,000.00/yr - $150,000.00/yr Direct message the job poster from Dunhill Professional Search & Government Solutions Technical Recruiter @ Dunhill Professional Search & Government Solutions | Talent Acquisition l Management Enterprise Operations Center (EOC) Technician - Evening/Weekend Support (CBP) Location: Ashburn, VA We are seeking a skilled Enterprise Operations Center (EOC) Technician to support a high-profile, mission-critical federal IT program. This role is essential in maintaining the health and stability of enterprise systems by using advanced monitoring tools to detect, escalate, and resolve data center infrastructure incidents in real time. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience supporting large-scale IT environments, with the ability to work independently and manage incidents from identification to resolution. This position will support evening and weekend shifts as needed and requires strong situational awareness, problem-solving skills, and familiarity with incident, change, and problem management processes. Key Responsibilities: Monitor enterprise-wide applications and infrastructure across development, test, and production environments using tools such as IBM Netcool, AppDynamics, and HP Operations Manager. Serve as the first line of support for all enterprise incidents, providing 24x7x365 monitoring and response capabilities. Lead and support Incident Bridge calls to ensure rapid incident resolution and service restoration. Log and manage incidents using BMC Remedy, including compiling timelines and maintaining accurate records. Escalate critical issues in accordance with established procedures and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders. Develop and maintain operational documentation, including SOPs, troubleshooting guides, customer contact databases, and technical user guides. Conduct quarterly reviews of operational documentation to ensure accuracy and currency. Contribute to the Knowledge Management Database by creating lessons learned entries and updating known error articles. Identify trends and potential issues before they impact service availability; recommend proactive monitoring or automation strategies. May supervise or provide guidance to junior staff. Required Qualifications: U.S. Citizenship is required- Must obtain Public Trust 3-10 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree in a related field. (Four additional years of experience may be substituted for a degree.) At least 3 years of experience supporting incident, problem, and change management activities for a large government agency. At least 2 years of experience working independently on high-visibility or mission-critical programs. At least 3 years of experience with fault and performance monitoring tools such as IBM Netcool Omnibus, AppDynamics, and HP Operations Manager. 3 years of hands-on experience using incident management tools, particularly BMC Remedy. Experience supporting large-scale enterprise monitoring environments, preferably Manager of Managers (MoM) configurations. Familiarity with key data center technologies, including: VMWare Oracle IBM technologies (MQ, AIX, DB2/UDB) Strong verbal and written communication skills.
