Within Asset Management, the Americas Business Platform group is responsible for the creation and management of pooled vehicles and fund board infrastructure and oversees the relationship with our Transfer Agency (TA).
As a Finance & Business Management Vice President within the Asset Management Client Service F&BM team, you will partner with senior business leaders on strategic direction and decision making, deliver value-added reporting and analysis, and execute various day-to-day business activities. You will focus on increasing productivity and creating efficiency, while managing business priority projects and collaborating with counterparts across the business.
Job responsibilities:
Provide support, unbiased advice, analysis and actionable recommendations to Head of Americas Business Platforms as well as various other senior leaders
Partner with other business-aligned functional areas (Sales, Marketing, Legal, Risk & Controls, HR, Compliance, Technology and Operations) with respect to change management initiatives
Identify internal control issues or inefficiencies and own solutions (business process reengineering, technology enhancements, control environment),
Communicate effectively with key business partners to understand projects and drive next steps
Project manage and deliver key work streams and tasks
Participate in collaborative initiatives across the Americas Client business, looking for ways to continually simplify, improve, and add value to existing business processes
End to end ownership and management of business priority projects
Collaborate with BM counterparts across each business on various projects
Prepare senior management for internal and external meetings through presentation & content creation, agenda coordination, speaker preparation and logistics coordination
Provide adhoc support to Americas Client Service leadership team for administrative and strategic initiatives
Provide oversight of entitlement provisions for Americas based Client Service employees and rotational analyst programs
Required qualifications, capabilitites, and skills:
5+ years’ experience in the financial services industry, with exposure to Asset Management
Excellent presentation and communication skills: delivering messages clearly and succinctly with tailored approach depending on target audience
Ability to build strong working relationships and influence a wide range of stakeholders, including executive management
Strong project management skills, with emphasis on controls and focus on process improvement
Excellent analytical skills
Pro-active and problem-solving mindset with ability to identify, clearly present and implement solutions
