$144,000 - $168,000 Job Summary:
MCSG seeks a Systems Engineer to support the 392d Combat Training Squadron's efforts to design, plan, and execute technical solutions for integrating third-party modeling and simulation capabilities into space M&S operations supporting USSF exercises. The role requires project management, technical, acquisition, and requirements development skills to ensure smooth integration of space M&S capabilities into 392CTS operations. The position is based at 5575 Tech Center Drive, Colorado Springs, CO, with on-site support required. Weekly meetings at Schriever Space Force Base are also expected. Primary Duties
Develop and implement strategies for integrating third-party capabilities into the 392 CTS Battlelab M&S architecture. Lead design, planning, and implementation of technical solutions for integration. Collaborate with internal teams and external partners, including government stakeholders, to gather and manage requirements. Identify, manage, and mitigate risks related to system integration. Define project milestones, oversee timelines, and manage resources. Coordinate testing and validation of integrated systems ensuring compliance with regulations and security protocols. Maintain detailed records of processes, challenges, and resolutions. Participate in technical meetings and reviews related to USSF exercises and events. Develop schedules, plans, and briefings; monitor activities; report through reports and presentations. Attend weekly organizational meetings to stay aligned with leadership priorities. Perform additional tasks as directed by contract leadership to support mission success. Requirements
Experience working in DoD or National space organizations. Experience applying project management or system engineering processes within the DoD. Knowledge of risk management strategies. Ability to analyze technical and financial data for resource allocation. Limited travel required (5-6 weeks/year). Preferred Qualifications
Experience managing M&S projects from start to finish. Certifications such as PMP, CSEP, or related project management credentials. Experience with M&S tools like STK, Peregrine, RAPTOR, SST. Knowledge of DoD requirements, acquisition, and contracting processes. Experience:
10 years working in or for DoD organizations. Education/Certification
Bachelor's degree preferred; experience may substitute for education. Security Clearance
