Cost Manager / Cost Engineer
to join its Dallas office. The role offers the opportunity to work on diverse, high-profile projects across sectors such as commercial, corporate interiors, life sciences, data centers, residential, mixed-use, and infrastructure. This is an ideal role for candidates who excel at delivering rigorous cost management, value engineering, and strategic advice to clients throughout the project lifecycle. Key Responsibilities Provide accurate cost planning and estimating during all project stages (concept, schematic, design development, and construction documentation). Prepare and present detailed cost reports, cash flows, and forecasts. Review and analyze contractor bids, change orders, and payment applications. Conduct value engineering studies and deliver recommendations to maximize project value. Perform cost risk analysis and benchmarking to support strategic client decisions. Advise clients on procurement strategies, contract administration, and project delivery models. Collaborate closely with project managers, design teams, contractors, and client stakeholders. Support project budget control, reporting, and compliance with client governance processes. Represent the consultancy professionally at client meetings and presentations. Key Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field. Minimum 5 years of relevant cost management / cost engineering experience. Proven track record delivering projects in sectors such as commercial, corporate interiors, data centers, life sciences, or mixed-use development. Strong knowledge of pre- and post-contract cost management. Familiarity with industry-standard estimating software and tools. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce high-quality client-facing deliverables. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment. Professional certifications (MRICS, CCP, AACE, PMP, or similar) are desirable but not mandatory. What’s on Offer Competitive salary up to $190,000, depending on experience.
