company vehicle provided while onsite Sponsorship is not available Senior Electrical Engineer – Power Distribution Description Our client, a utilities company, is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Senior Electrical Engineer to join an innovative team within the power and energy sector in Jackson County, MO. In this role, you will take on responsibilities comparable to a lead project manager for capital and system improvement initiatives. You will leverage your technical expertise to guide project planning and development. To be chosen for this role, you must have a strong power distribution background. There are no residency restrictions. Candidates may live in MO or KS. Senior Electrical Engineer – Power Distribution Responsibilities •

Act as a project leader in the design and engineering of complex projects •

Provide functional supervision of technical staff and mentor junior engineers •

Monitor progress of assigned projects to ensure timely completion •

Perform extensive research and field investigations •

Evaluate and recommend project alternatives and review system protection •

Develop project drawings, evaluate projects costs, and customer requirements •

Participate in the evaluation of engineering activities •

Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws and regulations •

Serve as a subject matter expert and offer recommendations Senior Electrical Engineer – Power Distribution Qualifications •

Bachelor’s degree in engineering required •

Power distribution design

experience required •

Must have passed the FE exam to be considered for this role
