Technical Services Engineer
specializing in power system protection and automation. This role supports customers across the full lifecycle—from technical onboarding and field support to product feedback and team collaboration. What You’ll Do Act as the primary technical liaison for customers using relay and recorder solutions Conduct onsite visits, demonstrations, and virtual training sessions Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to adapt products for market needs Respond to technical inquiries via Webex, emails, and phone Assist with product proposals, manuals, whitepapers, and training materials Represent the company at industry events (e.g. IEEE, utility protection forums) Provide field support during product installations and commissioning Manage small projects and support continuous improvement efforts Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering 3–5 years of experience with protection relays and fault recorders Solid understanding of power systems, including relays in transmission/distribution environments Experience with EMTP, load flow, and short circuit studies Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong organizational skills and self-motivation Willingness to travel up to 20% (domestic/international) US work authorization (no sponsorship required) Nice-to-Have Hands-on experience with protective relay and recorder products Familiarity with communication protocols and system automation Proven experience leading or participating in field project teams Public-facing experience at industry conferences Interested?
