Responsibilities
Install, configure, and support local and wide area networks, systems, and applications. Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure network and data security. Conduct regular system backups and manage disaster recovery operations. Manage user accounts, permissions, email, and security tools like anti-virus and anti-spam. For Mid-Level and Senior roles: Design and implement new system architectures, lead projects, mentor junior staff, and develop strategic IT plans. Minimum Requirements
Junior Systems Administrator: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field, with up to 2 years of experience. Knowledge of network configuration, security principles, and operating systems. Mid-Level Systems Administrator: 3-5 years of experience, managing medium to large-scale server environments, with strong problem-solving skills and familiarity with cloud services. Senior Systems Administrator: Over 6 years of experience, with advanced knowledge in system architecture, networking, and security, and leadership experience. Preferred Skills
Experience with Windows, Linux, and Unix environments. Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure. Scripting skills in PowerShell or Bash. Knowledge of virtualization technologies like VMWare or Hyper-V. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Additional Details
Salary Range: $85,000 - $220,000. Compensation depends on various factors including experience, location, and qualifications. Benefits include health insurance, life insurance, disability, paid time off, parental leave, 401(k), professional development, and work/life programs. Job Details
