Principal Process Engineer
in Houston, Texas, to work on process system designs related to gasification systems. The role involves interaction with technical experts, suppliers, clients, and engineers, requiring a dynamic team-oriented approach. Reporting to the Process Engineering Manager and VP of Engineering, the position offers a full-time role with occasional travel. Work Location
Located in Houston, near Fallbrook and W. Sam Houston Parkway N., with no extended or hybrid remote options, but flexibility for occasional off-site work. Travel
Up to 10% travel for meetings, site visits, and plant operations. Compensation

Reviewing and contributing to proposals Leading process engineering projects and client interfacing Achieving schedule commitments Modeling process simulations in AspenPlus/HYSYS Designing process systems, equipment sizing, PFD/P&ID development Collaborating on control narratives and system logic Leading hazard and operability reviews Supporting engineering and plant startup activities Developing design procedures and tools Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Process modeling, control systems, safety systems Hydraulic calculations, flare and relief sizing Strong communication and proposal writing skills Experience with plant operation and client interaction Qualifications
Bachelor’s in chemical engineering, 15-25 years of experience Expertise in AspenPlus/HYSYS, AutoCAD/Bluebeam Additional training in HAZOP, project management is a plus Experience with fluidized beds, biomass, syngas, gasification preferred EEO Statement
