Client Our client is a fast-growing, highly specialized U.S.-based engineering and manufacturing firm serving mission-critical industries such as aerospace, clean energy, and biopharma. Summary We are recruiting for a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer to support the buildout and operations of our client’s new state-of-the-art, 100,000+ sq. ft. manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in high-volume manufacturing processes, particularly in areas such as metal forming, aluminum materials, stamping, die fabrication, cleaning/degreasing, and cellular manufacturing. Familiarity with ASME VIII, Div. 1 (Pressure Vessel Code) and solid knowledge of materials handling is highly preferred. This hands-on role will focus on developing and optimizing manufacturing processes, assisting in the specification and procurement of custom equipment, and supporting the installation and integration of new systems. Experience with high-speed stamping and metal fabrication processes - or similar - is a strong advantage. The successful candidate will collaborate cross-functionally to ensure process efficiency, product quality, and on-time project execution. Primary Responsibilities Design and implement efficient manufacturing processes for high-volume production, including stamping, pressing, and cleaning operations. Collaborate with mechanical design and operations teams to create custom metal geometries and press dies, consistently producing metal stamped parts within tolerances and quality requirements. Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in metal fabrication and die tooling technology. Serve as the internal subject matter expert (SME) for high-speed stamped products and cleaning processes to ensure oil-free materials before subsequent fabrication stages. Develop and implement manufacturing processes for stamping presses and stamped metal fabrication. Optimize production parameters to achieve the desired mechanical and structural properties of fins. Develop systems for industrial materials handling and cleaning within the facility to optimize workflow efficiency and maintain parts tolerances. Work closely with quality control and production employees to identify non-conformities and implement corrective actions. Conduct failure analysis and troubleshoot issues related to the fabrication processes. Maintain and calibrate equipment and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. Evaluate vendors and their supplied products to ensure compliance with project specifications. Sourcing and negotiating custom manufacturing equipment. Develop work processes, procedures, quality control measures, and fabrication package documentation in alignment with company requirements and quality standards. Interface effectively with sales, procurement, vendors, operations, and mechanical design/drafting teams. Ability to define, organize, and lead shop floor manufacturing processes. Education, Skills, and Experience Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering, manufacturing engineering, materials science, Industrial technology, or related field. 7+ years relevant experience performing similar or relatable responsibilities as those defined above. Experience with mechanical and metallurgical properties and behavior of metals (with emphasis on Aluminum). Excellent project management skills and practices (PMP Certification a plus). Technical training or demonstrated experience with PLC driven machinery. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Must have the aptitude to be an effective presenter and instructor. Ability to work with all levels of people within a team environment. Ability to define, organize, and lead shop floor manufacturing processes. Ability to plan tasks and adhere to documentation requirements and production schedules. Intermediate to Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite, MS Project Must be organized, have strong attention to detail, and a drive to complete tasks on time. Seniority level
