Glumac, a Tetra Tech company, is seeking a Commissioning Authority to join our Data Center Commissioning Team. This role offers hands-on experience with Data Center projects and exposure to various project types, contributing to high-quality building performance and energy efficiency. Responsibilities
Lead and manage the commissioning process for assigned projects, including conducting field testing, creating checklists, and documenting results. Participate in project meetings and support project management. Follow internal procedures and industry standards, ensuring safe work practices. Maintain professional development to stay current in the field. Location & Travel
This position is open to candidates near any of Glumacs U.S. offices, including Irvine, Los Angeles, Sacramento, San Diego, San Francisco, Silicon Valley, Portland, Seattle, and Austin. Up to 50% travel to project sites is required. Qualifications
Bachelors or higher degree in engineering or related field, or equivalent experience. 8+ years industry experience, with 2+ years in datacenter commissioning, operations, or construction. ANSI/ISO accredited commissioning certification (required). Technical knowledge of datacenter MEP systems, controls, and instrumentation. Project management skills including scheduling and budgeting. Strong communication and client management skills. Certifications such as PE, Energy Management, or TAB are a plus. Experience with electrical systems and QA/QC processes is advantageous.
