Job Summary:

The Assistant Dean of Curriculum Innovation and Instructional Design will lead the development, implementation, and refinement of the medical school curriculum, focusing on simulation-based education and AI integration in medical training. Reporting to the Senior Associate Dean of Medical Education, this role involves collaboration with faculty, staff, and students to ensure high educational standards aligned with current practices and research. Key Responsibilities: Curriculum Development and Management:

Oversee planning, development, and implementation of an innovative medical curriculum, ensuring integration of clinical and basic sciences. Simulation-Based Education:

Lead the incorporation of simulation technologies, including virtual reality and mannequins, to enhance clinical training. Instructional Design and Pedagogy:

Design and implement effective teaching methodologies, supporting new technologies and pedagogical approaches. Faculty Development and Support:

Provide training and resources, facilitate workshops on best teaching practices. Artificial Intelligence Integration:

Lead efforts to incorporate AI technologies and machine learning for clinical training and decision-making. Curriculum Evaluation and AI Analytics:

Use AI-driven analytics to assess and improve curriculum effectiveness and student performance. Accreditation and Compliance:

Ensure curriculum compliance with accreditation standards, prepare necessary documentation. Research and Innovation:

Promote educational research and implement innovative teaching practices. Collaboration and Leadership:

Work with academic leadership and stakeholders to align the curriculum with institutional goals, serve on committees. Other duties as assigned. Senior Level:
