Job Title: Quantum Device Engineer

We are seeking a candidate to join an effort developing semiconductor, spin quantum bit devices and mature the project by improving device yield. Essential Duties: Relate electrical data taken at various temperature stages of testing, including quantum coherent spin qubit characterization, to fabrication processes and semiconductor device design. Investigate device failures through materials characterization techniques, organize, update, and summarize results. Use databases to extract critical information and perform statistical data analysis. Communicate technical findings effectively through oral and written reports. Required Skills: Statistical analysis and design of experiments Failure analysis, including materials characterization techniques Development and design of novel semiconductor or quantum devices, understanding of cleanroom fabrication equipment and processes Semiconductor device physics Experience with Python and SQL (preferred) Reporting and documentation of test results Familiarity with cryogenic test equipment Required Education:
Ph.D. in electrical engineering, physics, applied physics, or related field; or Master’s degree with 5+ years relevant experience in semiconductor yield engineering. Physical Requirements:
Ability to climb ladders to use elevated test equipment; work safely in a laboratory environment. Special Requirements:
U.S. Citizenship; willingness to apply for security clearance. Compensation:
Base salary range $132,765 - $165,983 + bonus + benefits. Salary depends on role, level, location, skills, experience, and education.
