AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. We support all AWS data centers, including servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment, to ensure our customers have continual access to cloud innovations. You will be part of a diverse team of engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, and operations managers, collaborating to uphold safety, security, and cost-efficiency standards while fostering an inclusive culture that encourages bold ideas and ownership. You will join a highly creative and efficient MEP BIM team, responsible for designing challenging projects with innovative solutions for Amazon Data Center facilities. Your support will include preparing Physical Security BIM models, construction documents, and leveraging BIM data, influencing design documents for Video Surveillance, Access Control, Intrusion Detection, and CCTV systems. You will produce, maintain, and publish permit Security drawing sets for our Data Centers. Responsibilities Design electrical systems of Data Centers and create/maintain BIM models using Revit. Work independently and collaboratively with internal teams, suppliers, consultants, vendors, and contractors. Perform electrical engineering calculations, including short circuit, arc flash analysis, voltage drop, raceway, conductor sizing, and grounding. Develop detailed Revit models and construction documentation for electrical systems. Update and modify models and documents, coordinate with engineering teams. Create and maintain BIM templates and participate in design coordination meetings. Manage multiple projects across different locations. Support information exchange during construction and provide site evaluations as needed (approx. once or twice a year). Contribute creative solutions and maintain a positive, proactive attitude. As a designer, you will collaborate across disciplines to refine data center designs, create detailed models and drawings, and communicate changes effectively to ensure high standards of efficiency and quality. About The Team

Basic Qualifications 5+ years of electrical design/engineering experience in mission-critical facilities. 4+ years of experience with Revit for BIM models and drawings. Knowledge of electrical codes (NEC) and safety standards. Ability to perform lighting calculations and understand power distribution via single-line diagrams. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering. Experience with Data Center design and construction. Skills with Revit Family, Dynamo scripts, RF Tools, and BIM standards.
