We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer with expertise in designing mechanical systems. As a Designer of Record (DOR), you will create complex HVAC and piping system design drawings for various project phases and build key relationships with team members, clients, subcontractors, and vendors. Responsibilities include: Lead or contribute to mechanical engineering design efforts. Support business development using mechanical design experience. Communicate effectively with clients and team members. Adhere to project budgets and schedules. Define scope of work and estimate man-hours. Perform or oversee load and design calculations. Use engineering software (Revit, Trane Trace) for design tasks. Develop project specifications and reports. Prepare and review cost estimates. Research code and project-specific requirements. Collaborate with construction partners for cost-effective redesigns. Create project work plans and proposals. Evaluate field installations and ensure compliance. Perform quality control checks. Propose performance improvements. Maintain professional communication skills. Occasional travel may be required. Professional Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Architectural Engineering (ABET accredited). Licensed Professional Engineer. Minimum 8 years’ experience in construction industry. U.S. Citizen. Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, Trane Trace, and Microsoft Office. Experience with HVAC and plumbing systems is a plus. Knowledge of UFC and UFGS is a plus. LEED accreditation is a plus.
