Required skills- Strong experience in software testing, with a focus on automated testing, including testing data engineering solutions built on Databricks. Proficiency in SQL, including the ability to write complex queries for data comparison, validation, and test automation,. Experience with Databricks, including understanding its core architecture, functionalities like Delta Lake, Spark, and Databricks Jobs. Hands-on experience with testing data pipelines, particularly using tools like Databricks, Azure Data Factory (ADF), and PySpark, Familiarity with test automation frameworks and scripting (e.g., PySpark, Python, Scala), Experience with cloud platforms like Azure. Understanding of database architecture and principles, including tables, columns, primary keys, and foreign keys. Troubleshooting skills related to SQL queries and database connectivity. Strong attention to detail for identifying and fixing errors in data pipelines and SQL queries. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams. Collaboration & Communication: Collaborating closely with data engineers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand data transformation logic, ensure data quality, and resolve defects efficiently. Identifying, documenting, and tracking defects, and working with development teams to ensure timely resolution,.
