The New York office seeks a Trusts & Estates Paralegal to support estate and trust administration, focusing on estate administration, trust administration, and related tasks. The role requires flexibility, motivation, and the ability to manage multiple projects. The position is in-office 2-3 days a week with remote work on other days. Responsibilities include: Handle estate administrations, including probate, asset valuation, and bequests. Assist with estate planning documents such as Wills, Trusts, and powers of attorney. Prepare and file estate tax returns. Form LLCs, secure EINs, and prepare settlement agreements. Review and prepare fiduciary accountings. Maintain estate administration deadlines and planning calendars. Note: Duties may evolve over time. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required. 5+ years of Trusts & Estates paralegal experience. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Positive attitude, judgment, initiative, and integrity. Dependable, motivated, team player. Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks. Attention to detail, with strong language skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with estate tax software and court filings preferred. Availability to work overtime when needed.
