Position Overview The Assistant Vice President of Revenue Cycle Applications is a strategic leadership role responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, optimization, and support of technology solutions within the revenue cycle domain. This position manages the full solution lifecycle—from planning and development to deployment and ongoing maintenance—ensuring alignment with organizational goals and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will identify opportunities to streamline processes, enhance user and patient experiences, and drive innovation through collaboration with operational leaders and technology partners.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end management of the revenue cycle applications portfolio, ensuring high-performance outcomes across teams. Provide strategic direction for solution implementation, testing, support, and workflow optimization. Build strong relationships with business leaders to understand strategic needs and translate them into technical requirements. Participate in governance committees to prioritize initiatives and manage workload effectively. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify synergies and drive continuous improvement. Oversee IT operations including budgeting, policy development, talent management, and stakeholder engagement. Stay current on emerging technologies and advocate for the adoption of industry best practices. Represent the organization in relevant industry forums and events (e.g., HIMSS, CHIME, Epic UGM/XGM). Ensure seamless integration across functional areas and technology platforms. Supported Systems and Applications

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field required. Certifications:
Epic application certifications preferred. Experience:
Minimum of 7 years managing healthcare applications, systems, or processes. At least 5 years in a leadership role with demonstrated success in team and project management.
