Permanent Overview: Ready to take the lead on impactful infrastructure projects? We’re seeking a
Lead Structural Engineer (PE)
to provide design and leadership on water and wastewater treatment facilities, civil infrastructure, and related structural projects. As a key member of the team, you’ll handle everything from concept through construction, mentor junior staff, and deliver innovative solutions that keep communities moving. Your Primary Responsibilities: Lead structural design for water/wastewater facilities and infrastructure projects. Prepare calculations, drawings, cost estimates, and specifications. Design low-rise buildings (masonry, steel, wood) and liquid-containing concrete tanks (above/below grade). Perform site visits and structural assessments. Oversee design budgets, schedules, and ensure quality control. Mentor junior engineers and delegate tasks to Revit technicians. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams during all project phases. Support bidding and construction administration. What You’ll Need: Education:
B.S. in Civil or Structural Engineering (M.S. preferred). License:
PE with ability to obtain reciprocity via NCEES. Experience:
8–15 years in structural engineering, with at least 8 in water/wastewater projects. Proficiency in MS Office, Bluebeam, Revit, STAAD, Tekla Structural Designer, Enercalc, and Mathcad. Expertise in concrete design (ACI 350), CMU, steel, and wood design. Strong communication, organization, and mentoring skills. Ready to lead projects that matter?
