The role involves growing, developing, supporting, and enhancing our Water and Wastewater services in a Doer-Seller capacity. The successful candidate will provide project management, business development, client relationship management, and coordination of key Water/Wastewater and Municipal services. This position is based in our Troy, NY office and focuses on strategic business growth and supporting technical water/wastewater projects. Job Responsibilities Develop and implement strategies for expanding Water/Wastewater services. Collaborate with leadership to grow market presence and explore new service areas. Manage project-related finances, including fee setting, revenue projections, and profit margins. Lead and manage a team of professionals. Coordinate with disciplines to ensure project delivery, staffing, scheduling, and client satisfaction. Identify funding opportunities and assist in preparing discipline plans. Support marketing efforts, including business plans and proposal development. Ensure adherence to company procedures and standards. Participate in trade shows, client meetings, and develop marketing content like articles and social media. Prepare and coordinate proposals, assist in go/no-go decisions, and marshal resources for project pursuits. Oversee project management, scope development, budgeting, and technical quality. Contribute to regional growth and staff development within the discipline. Foster a team environment and engage with staff to leverage their capabilities. Ensure excellent internal and external customer service and establish effective communication protocols. Education and Qualifications Bachelor’s degree and 15+ years of experience in Water/Wastewater consulting for municipal, private, or public clients. Strong knowledge of project management, design, construction, and operations of Water/Wastewater infrastructure. Proven ability to develop and maintain client relationships and generate new business. Licensed Professional Engineer with reciprocity in multiple states preferred. Preferred Skills Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Adobe, and Outlook. Ability to multitask, prioritize, delegate, and lead teams effectively. Strong communication and public speaking skills. Knowledge of emerging Water/Wastewater technologies and market trends. Standards of Performance Maintain technical knowledge and market awareness. Use software tools effectively and stay current with industry practices. Promote a team-oriented culture and uphold high client service standards. Support market growth and stay informed on local issues affecting municipal services. Salary Range:
$125,000 - $160,000 annually, with potential deviations based on experience and other factors.
