Dr. Andrew Hung is seeking a Research Data Scientist to join a diverse team! The role involves participating in biomedical research projects using programming, data mining, statistics, machine learning, and visualization techniques to develop, evaluate, and apply algorithms and software for data analysis. Responsibilities include querying databases, data processing, supervised and unsupervised machine learning, deploying models, and communicating scientific findings through publications and conferences. The candidate will write clean, efficient, reusable code managed on GitHub for repeatable analyses and model deployment. Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Develop, evaluate, and apply computational and statistical methods, including AI and machine learning algorithms for biomedical data analysis. Present and communicate scientific results via meetings, conferences, and publications. Create data pipelines for models using R, Python, SQL. Establish sustainable data science infrastructure following best practices. Perform exploratory data analysis to determine analytical needs. Collaborate with senior data scientists and principal investigators to identify data science applications in biomedical research. Test and validate code ensuring robustness, using version control with GitHub. Perform additional duties as assigned. Auto req ID:
