Process Engineer 4 (ASPICE/FuSa)

Job Summary:
We are seeking an energetic, motivated, and self-starter to join the Process Group to help drive change in the organization, improving quality and performance in development teams. This person enjoys working in a high-energy environment, collaborating with multiple disciplines (software, hardware, systems, QA, etc.) to identify areas for improvement, develop effective process solutions and lead ASPICE assessments.
The ideal candidate is one who has developed embedded products or has software engineering background and then has transitioned to a Process Engineer role where this person leverages their knowledge. A Process Engineer is not a software developer.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Develop adeepunderstanding of DENSO’s development policies, processes, and tools
Develop and maintain organizational Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring alignment with DENSO and industry standards such as ASPICE, Functional Safety, and Cybersecurity
Conduct gap analyses and identify areas for improvement Facilitate and lead cross-functional Technical Working Groups to define and deploy process solutions Develop and deliver training sessions for teams to ensure successful adoption of processes
Provide guidance and consultation to projects on processes, concepts/best practices, and tailoring solutions Prepare and lead ASPICE assessments for projects Mentor less experienced engineers in process and deployment activities Required Qualifications: 10+ years of experience working with embedded development projects in the automotive industry Strong knowledge of ASPICE, with a record of successfully applying it to projects and leading measurable process and performance improvement initiatives Experience in Agile methodologies and integration of Agile within embedded environments Experience in Functional Safety ISO 26262 and ability to apply safety concepts to projects Experience in Cybersecurity preferred Experience with Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tools, preferably Atlassian (Jira, Confluence) and IBM DOORS Experience leading or co-leading formal assessments (ASPICE), audits, or external assessments strongly recommended Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience Intacs ASPICE Provisional Assessor certification is required Ability to advocate best practices Analytical skills, problem solving skills, conceptual and troubleshooting abilities to diagnose problems and come up with effective solutions Exceptionalcommunication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills Demonstrated ability to work independently, take initiative, and lead Benefits Summary: Health, Dental, Vision, Prescription Drug plans Life and Accidental Death & Dismemberment Insurance Flexible Spending Account Employee Assistance Program 401K with 4% company match Bonus Program Wellness Program Onsite Fitness Center (vary by location) Tuition Reimbursement Career Development and Ongoing Training Paid holidays and vacation Cafeteria and food markets (vary by location) Volunteer opportunities Employee recognition (employee and milestone events) Annual Salary: $137,000-$171,000
