Direct message the job poster from Equal Parts We’re looking for a versatile and technically fluent Product Manager to lead initiatives at the intersection of platform engineering, data/AI systems, and user-centric system design. You will be building and scaling an internal platform, collaborating closely with engineering, data science, and operations teams to turn raw potential into structured, reliable, and intuitive systems. This is not a conventional PM role. In a fast-moving AI-fueled ecosystem, we’re not looking to plug into legacy processes. We’re looking for someone ready to define and evolve what modern product management looks like, especially in environments where the technology moves faster than the roadmap. What You’ll Do Own the product lifecycle for platforms and tools that serve both internal teams (engineering, data science, back office) and external stakeholders Collaborate with AI/ML and data teams to align on scope, technical feasibility, and real-world impact from experimentation to deployment Design and iterate on process: Create new patterns for prioritization, validation, and execution that match the needs of non-traditional tech stacks and workflows Partner closely with engineers to go from problem to prototype to product rapidly Advocate for high-quality developer experience and help build scalable systems that others can build on top of What We’re Looking For 1–4+ years of product experience if you have a hands-on technical background (e.g., in software engineering, data science, or ML). 5+ years otherwise, with a demonstrated ability to lead technical products or platforms Experience working on platforms, internal tools, APIs, developer experiences, or deeply technical products Exposure to AI/ML, data pipelines, or automation-heavy systems Familiarity with tools like Figma, Magic Patterns, Replit, and Retool Comfort with cloud-based systems and environments A track record of 0 to 1 execution: you’ve built or led the creation of something from scratch and shepherded it into use Process creativity: you’ve adapted or invented product workflows to match the needs of fast-moving or ambiguous teams You’ve built and shipped your own tool, side project, or automation—whether for public users or to solve your own team’s pain You’ve worked with multi-functional teams that span engineering, data/AI, back-office systems, and customer-facing services and operations You can talk to users in the morning, write an API spec after lunch, and build a working prototype by dinner Why This Role Be part of a team that values experimentation, pragmatism, and deep tech fluency Help define the next generation of product practices in AI-powered environments Work across functions and problem domains, and help shape the infrastructure that powers them all Seniority level
